Export Quality Testing

Rigorous analyses are performed to identify any defects in the tea. These assessments follow well-defined standards regulated by official bodies. When the results of tea quality testing meet the standards set by the destination country for export, the tea is classified as “export quality.”

Tea is tested for it’s quality based on several standards provided by the authorities. Tea from Ceylon is meant to be held up against the international standards for fine tea. Tea is tested for various requirements from various importing bodies.  Ceylon tea undergoes testing at various stages of the production process.
