Policy
The social & welfare policy of the Venture Tea (Pvt) Ltd is to ensure the wellbeing of its workers through compliance with the Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard Supply Chain Requirements, and by adhering to national legislation and the international agreements signed by the country, such as those of International Labor Organization (ILO).
Ensure occupational health and safety of workers by adopting appropriate practices to prevent threats to human life, health, and welfare during operations.
In hiring personnel & during operations, administrators will avoid discrimination based on gender, race, religion, or civil status. Management will avoid any arrangements or practices designed to eliminate or reduce workers’ pay and/or benefits such as employing temporary workers for permanent or ongoing tasks.
Recruitment would always be to national age requirements, preferably employing those who are inhabitants of neighboring communities; all resident and nonresident employee families have access to education and health services.
We respect every employee in the organization, and no one will be harassed, tortured, or verbally abused or no one will be encouraged to do so. In the event of any misconduct, a formal disciplinary inquiry will be held, and a maximum disciplinary action will be taken.
